Bridging the Gap: Economic Empowerment through P3s

This session will explore how P3 projects can create real economic empowerment opportunities for small, disadvantaged businesses and local job seekers. Panelists will discuss practical ways to “bridge the gap” between the unknowns of P3 projects and the growth and development of local jobs and small business contracts. Successful P3 projects featured include:  Virginia’s 495 Express Lanes and Elizabeth River Tunnel, Maryland’s Purple Line Light Rail, and the District of Columbia’s 11th Street Bridge projects.
